KNX Association International is pleased to announce that applications can now be handed in for the KNX Award 2010, which will be granted at the Light+Building fair 2010 in Frankfurt (Germany). The KNX Award rewards worldwide the smartest KNX projects, which stand out as regards innovation and technical progress. Applications are welcome from around the world in six categories.

Controlling the mood The brightness control behaviour and the speed can be set separately for each channel. The individual channels of the KNX universal dimming actuator REG-K can be interconnected, if necessary. Connected loads are detected automatically. For load distribution, different outer conductors can be connected to each channel. With "Soft start", the KNX universal dimming actuator protects the lamp and ensures a longer service life.
KNX ROOM TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNIT WITH DISPLAY
Feeling good comfortably The KNX room temperature control unit with display maintains the individual temperature and provides a feeling of comfort. Particularly individual: the desired temperature can be set automatically or manually. All functions can be called up easily and conveniently at the press of a button. The functions are assigned to the push-buttons using the parameter setting in the ETS. Even later when already in use (e.g. a new office situation), the push-button functions can be reassigned as required anytime.
KNX TOUCH PANEL 7“
Always well informed Easy to operate and a multitude of application possibilities – this puts the KNX touch panel 7" in front of the rest. Whether in a single-family house or in the conference room – the large display and the clear control panel give a clear overview. Switching and dimming the lighting, controlling the roller shutter and blinds – all this from a central location. You can retrieve specific scenes and conveniently switch individual devices on and off.
