The new Merten CONNECT radio system comes with revolutionary new technology for maximal flexibility, safety and security: Based on the approved Z waves standard it always automatically seeks out the best connection to the receiver.
Installation – revolutionarily simple
The CONNECT radio system can be programmed in an incredibly simple way: Simply press the radio push-button three times, then press the radio receiver three times, and that's it. For more extensive radio applications, the Connect software tool can help with the assigning of all the functions of the radio components.
Diagnostic tool – for the rapid checking of radio signals
For the first time the new CONNECT radio system offers a practical and reliable software diagnosis tool for checking the quality of individual radio connections. It shows in detail, the quality of the radio signal sent from the transmitter and how it reaches the receiver. Optimisations can be carried out straight away at the right location.
The radio centre – beautiful and intelligent
With the new radio centre the CONNECT radio system presents its most attractive side. The design, functions and operating concept make the radio centre a real highlight. THE NEW REG-K COUPLER - WITH ADDITIONAL DIAGNOSTIC LED
Merten now offers a REG-K coupler with an extended LED display for more rapid faultfinding. In addition to three LEDs for mains power as well as main line and line data reception, the new coupler 680204 also has a diagnostic LED on the front from which the error and filter table status can be seen immediately. In particular enabling the rapid detection of a fault during a large EIB project and establishing on which main line or line it is.

Safety, security and energy-saving days with E-check
It is that time again: the Safety, security and energy-saving days 2006 are just around the corner. Use this campaign to check electrical installations.
Nowadays it would be unthinkable to have a home or a business without electrotechnology. First and foremost a regular E-check means safety and security but also energy saving. As part of the E-Check, checks are made on the following: switches, plugs, cables, surge protection, safety and security systems and lighting installations.

In addition the event "Switch - intuition in the room" in the Frankfurt Museum for Applied Art and the Merten exhibition stand at the light & building exhibition received the iF communication design award 2006.
The Merten design study “Switch - The Culture of Switching” was granted a particularly special award. It received the iF communication design gold award 2006. The study about the future of switches, which is well worth a read, is available from Stylepark Publishing House (ISBN: 3-00-018639-5).
