The right lighting effect can create anything from a romantic dinner ambience to a cosy atmosphere for watching television.
With the new Merten universal dimmer insert, it is possible for two different luminaires in one flush-mounted box to be dimmed independently of each other - ideal for retrofitting. Simply replace your current switch or dimmer with a 2-gang dimmer.
Very practical: Irrespective of which load is connected, the new two-circuit dimmer detects it automatically. Luminaires of up to 200 watts can be connected to each channel.
Another advantage: Dimmed light consumes less energy and extends the service life of the lights used.

The new KNX push-buttons plus offer large, easy-to-use operating surfaces and have a bus coupler already integrated. This makes installation easier and prevents the bus coupler being swapped over by mistake.
Thanks to the completely revised software, KNX push-buttons plus combine together a lot of new functions such as the option of dimming lighter or darker with just a single key.
Select the solution you need
The KNX push-buttons plus are available in System M and System Design. Depending on what you require, you can choose from a 1-gang, 2-gang, 3-gang (System Design only) or 4-gang as well as a 4-gang with IR receiver. The latter not only functions on the familiar Distance remote control but it can also be programmed into existing remote controls.
The plaster protection cover - more protection, less dirt
Wave goodbye to the misery of masking tape. Because now every new KNX push-button plus is supplied with a practical protective cover for plaster - also available separately as an accessory. It provides reliable protection against marks being made from painting and decorating work.

Square, practical, excellent. The M+ cube is full of arguments for the added value of Merten solutions. Compact and easy to understand - that's how the advantages of the integrated protection against accidental contact in accordance with VDE 0620 (child protection) have been described.

Anyone planning or constructing a building depends on the experience of expert suppliers. Merten offers decades of experience in intelligent building technology.
The airport tower in Vienna was equipped with intelligence and design from Merten and thus offers the most modern technology in the control centre.
The electrical installation was done using reliable KNX technology from Merten in all important areas: ground control room, emergency tower control room, main air traffic control room and the multifunctional centre. In each area, diverse control and dimming functions are necessary, such as a glare shield control or a lightscene control.
ARTEC switches from the System Design range were used. The tower was built by the architects Zechner and Zechner and the planner was Erwin Rauch.
