After the peak season in autumn, electricians are having a second peak season now until April with the Spring Friendship Weeks 2006.
The Friendship Weeks 2006 have the motto "Renovate". Merten is using its radio system to offer the appropriate solutions at this event. This main topic provides the emphasis for the training sessions and the promotional materials - a topic that will arouse great interest from both private and commercial customers.

Optimum convenience, simple operation
The new Merten universal dimmers for installation onto DIN rails offer you convenience and flexibility while using energy-saving technology.
Automatically adapting to the connected load type, the universal dimmers are the ideal solution for every situation.
You can connect all standard push-buttons to the universal dimmers. That means complete freedom of choice when choosing the design of your Merten push-buttons.
Thus, all conventional push-buttons can feature the dimming function. No additional heat is produced and there is therefore no risk to safety.
The options at a glance: 1 channel at 500 W 2 channels at 300 W each 4 channels at 150 W each
These power options are also available for the KNX as universal dimming actuators REG-K along with many other functional highlights.

ANTI-VANDALISM - hard to beat
This extremely hard-wearing switch range was developed for situations where the going can get tough: schools, sports halls, or buildings with public access. These switches even withstand being hit with tools. The new design merges with any number of different buildings and architectural styles, with even more ease and harmony.
AQUADESIGN - water off a duck's back
If switches are exposed to damp or moisture, whether in garages, basements, swimming pools or outdoor areas, then switches conforming to the IP 44 standard are a must. Inserts from System M can be integrated into AQUADESIGN using the intermediate ring.
IMPACT-RESISTANT - the surface-mounted versions
A range that justifies its name. IMPACT-RESISTANT withstands even extreme mechanical conditions, e.g. in workshops. The high-quality components guarantee long life and functional reliability.
The impact-resistant flush-mounted socket-outlet
The flush-mounted SCHUKO socket-outlet in a neutral design blends into all interiors and is particularly suitable for corridors in public buildings, offices and hotels. Kicks or hard knocks do not leave their mark on the this flat socket-outlet made of shatter-proof Thermoplastic. The dowel fastening provides protection in case the cable is pulled with excessive force, e.g. when vacuuming.

Anyone planning or constructing a building depends on the experience of expert partners. Merten offers decades of experience in intelligent building technology.
The Oval Office in Hamburg, designed by the architects nps tchoban voss, is named for its elliptical form. The complex boasts around 26,000 square metres of space.
The challenge for Merten was to develop an efficient concept for controlling the lighting and lightscenes (also by means of IR remote control).
Merten's answer was a comprehensive KNX installation and the switch range ARTEC.
