NATIONAL PROFICIENCY CONTEST FOR YOUNG PEOPLE |

Around 40 young tradespeople gathered in Germany's National Centre for Electrical and Information Technology (bfe) in Ordenburg from 11-13 November 2004. Having been named champions of their individual regions, they were now competing in the 2004 final of the German national championships for young people working in the fields of electrical and information technology, for the title of "Best Young Tradesperson".

Merten congratulates all the winners of the national championships. But not only they deserve praise and recognition. By getting as far as the national championships, every contestant proved that they have great stamina. This year's national championships proved once again how well-qualified and competent German apprentices are.
The event is organised by the Central Association of the German Electrical and Information Technology Industry (ZVEH). More than 20 famous sponsors supported this year's championships.
